Volleyball Recap: Greenville HomeSchool Athletics Triumphs

The Greenville HomeSchool Athletics Archers were able to grind out a solid win over the King's Academy Knights on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Archers.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-23, 17-25, 25-21.

Claire Samples had an outrageously good game as she had nine digs and four aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Samples wasn't the only good server: Greenville HomeSchool Athletics was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 26 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 14 aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for King's Academy, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Greenville HomeSchool Athletics will be taking part in a tournament against Hawkins at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for King's Academy, they will host East Texas Homeschool Sports at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
