Softball Recap: Sheridan Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Sheridan entered their tilt with Tri-Valley on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Scotties get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Generals, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Sheridan's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Tri-Valley, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheridan will square off against West Muskingum at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals will need to watch out since the Tornadoes have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Tri-Valley, they will face off against New Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
