Basketball Game Preview: Ephrata Tigers vs. East Valley Red Devils

The Ephrata Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the East Valley Red Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ephrata is looking for their season's first win.

On Friday, Ephrata took a blow against Ellensburg, falling 54-6. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 301st, while the Bulldogs are ranked eighth).

Meanwhile, East Valley can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 49-24 margin over Quincy.

Ephrata's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for East Valley, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13.

Ephrata was dealt a bruising 50-23 loss at the hands of East Valley when the teams last played back in January. Can Ephrata avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
