Baseball Recap: Hollis Takes a Loss

Hollis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 19-5 to the Navajo Indians. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Kreid McQueen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Warren, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Even though they lost, Hollis was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.

Hollis' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Navajo, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Looking ahead, Hollis will face off against Merritt at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Navajo, they will welcome Hobart at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
