Baseball Game Preview: Provo Bulldogs vs. Uintah Utes

For the first time this season, Provo will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will venture away from home to challenge the Uintah Utes at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Provo will head out to face Uintah after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Provo fell 5-2 to Mountain Crest.

Provo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Milo Rhineer, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Uintah can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past Kirtland Central 11-1. That looming 11-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Utes yet this season.

Uintah's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Provo, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 5-5.

Provo came up short against Uintah in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 9-5. Can Provo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
