Baseball Recap: Estacada Comes Up Short

Estacada came into this matchup off a tough six-run defeat last Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Molalla Indians by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Rangers have suffered since May 10, 2024.

Estacada saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Crawford, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

This is the second loss in a row for Estacada and nudges their season record down to 7-5-1. As for Molalla, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
