Softball Game Preview: Charles City Panthers vs. West Point Pointers

Charles City hasn't had much luck against West Point recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Pointers at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Charles City's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Armstrong as they made off with an 18-0 win.

West Point never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Thomas Jefferson on Monday. They blew past the Vikings 20-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pointers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win got West Point back to even at 6-6. As for Charles City, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
