Baseball Preview: Northeastern Clinton Cougars vs. Moriah Vikings        
        
		
            
 The Northeastern Clinton Cougars will head out on the road to  face off against  the Moriah Vikings at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
 Last Thursday, Northeastern Clinton came up short against Plattsburgh  and fell  8-4. Northeastern Clinton has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Meanwhile, Moriah won against AuSable Valley  on Thursday with six  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Saturday. Everything went Moriah's way against AuSable Valley as Moriah made off with  a  6-0 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Moriah.
  Isaac White was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. White was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Joe Pelkey, who  went 2-for-3 with a  stolen base, a  double,  and  an  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Joey Kazlo, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Northeastern Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Moriah, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.
 Northeastern Clinton took their  win against Moriah  in their previous meeting  back in April by a conclusive  12-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northeastern Clinton since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
