Football Recap: Woodbridge Comes Up Short on the Road Against Calvary Chapel

Woodbridge had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 35-0 loss at the hands of the Calvary Chapel Eagles. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Colin Wiles looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 210 yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one rushing score. Eli Sutherland was in the mix too, providing Calvary Chapel with one TD.

Coming up, Woodbridge will host Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Calvary Chapel, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
