Basketball Game Preview: Cass Tech Technicians vs. Bedford Kicking Mules

The Cass Tech Technicians will be taking part in a tournament against the Bedford Kicking Mules at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Cass Tech sitting on three straight victories and Bedford on six.

Cass Tech's tournament run continued when they took on Dearborn on Monday. Cass Tech came out on top against Dearborn by a score of 48-36.

Bedford meant business on Monday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Jaguars squad that has allowed just 26.65 points per contest. Bedford breezed past Allen Park to the tune of 57-23. The Kicking Mules have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Cass Tech's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Bedford, their victory bumped their record up to 22-2.

Cass Tech couldn't quite get it done against Bedford in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 as they fell 44-32. Can Cass Tech avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
