On Monday DePaul College Prep's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Glenbrook North Spartans. The two-run effort marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

DePaul College Prep's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Vance Kurokawa, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Addison Latko also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

DePaul College Prep's record is now 8-0. As for Glenbrook North, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DePaul College Prep will challenge Deerfield at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenbrook North, they will take on Loyola Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
