Baseball Recap: Pinson Valley Indians vs. Minor Tigers
Pinson Valley won the last time they faced Minor and things went their way on Monday too. The Pinson Valley Indians came out on top against the Minor Tigers by a score of 11-6.
Pinson Valley got a great performance from Marcelo Gabarron as he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up five earned runs off eight hits. Those nine strikeouts gave Gabarron a new career-high.
At the plate, Pinson Valley let Jaylon Sharpe and Jamison Green run wild. Sharpe scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5, while Green scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Pinson Valley is undefeated when Green posts two or more runs, but 1-13 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Elvin Tecalco, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-5.
