Softball Recap: Boca Raton Takes a Loss

Boca Raton lost against Spanish River back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Boca Raton Bobcats lost 15-3 to the Spanish River Sharks. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Boca Raton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sofia Garagozzo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Boca Raton and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Spanish River, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Boca Raton will venture away from home to face off against Suncoast at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boca Raton is facing Suncoast at the right time seeing as Suncoast is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Spanish River, they will be playing at home against West Boca Raton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
