Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty). They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Potomac Senior Panthers on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly four runs.

Christopher Laws was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Corbin Shepard was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Liberty was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Liberty and bumps their season record up to 3-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Potomac Senior, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Liberty will take on Gar-Field at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Potomac Senior, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Robinson at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
