Softball Recap: Blue Earth Comes Up Short

Blue Earth managed to slip by Fairmont the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Buccaneers came up short against the Cardinals on Tuesday, falling 27-2. The Buccaneers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Blue Earth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fairmont, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Blue Earth is set to square off against their familiar foe Jackson County Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fairmont will face off against rival St. James at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
