Soccer Recap: West Cabarrus Gets the Win

West Cabarrus's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Sun Valley Spartans by a score of 3-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but West Cabarrus were the better team in the second half.

They hit Sun Valley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ayden Torres, Giovani Mercado, and Axel Flores.

West Cabarrus now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Cabarrus is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Reagan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sun Valley, they will square off against Parkwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
