There's no place like home for Northside, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rogers Heritage War Eagles on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the War Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Northside never let Rogers Heritage on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-12, 25-13.

Despite the defeat, Rogers Heritage saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Abby Burks had 12 digs and three aces.

Northside now has a winning record of 18-17. As for Rogers Heritage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-22-2 record this season.
