Baseball Recap: Lordstown Comes Up Short

Lordstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bristol Panthers, falling 11-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Lordstown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bristol, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lordstown will challenge Chalker at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bristol, they will face off against Newton Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
