Basketball Recap: Warren County Comes Up Short

Warren County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 81-44 loss at the hands of the Skyline Hawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-46 back in December of 2024.

Warren County's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrian Craig, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Nolan Berry, who earned six points and seven boards.

Warren County's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Skyline, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

Warren County has already played their next game, a 62-55 defeat against Liberty on the 27th. As for Skyline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 63-33 win against Sherando on the 27th.
