Football Recap: Stagg Comes Up Short

Stagg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 56-6 defeat at the hands of the Andrew Thunderbolts. The Chargers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Stagg's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Andrew, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Stagg is set to challenge their familiar foe Waubonsie Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Andrew will face off against rival Lincoln-Way Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
