Guy Vickers leads a balanced attack to beat Dwight Morrow

Recap: Fort Lee Bridgemen vs. Dwight Morrow Maroon Raiders

The Fort Lee Bridgemen entered their tilt with the Dwight Morrow Maroon Raiders with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Fort Lee had just enough and edged Dwight Morrow out 56-53. The victory was all the more spectacular given Fort Lee's disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while Dwight Morrow is ranked 92nd).

Fort Lee's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Guy Vickers, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Vickers has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maxwell Greenberg, who scored 12 points along with six assists.

Fort Lee's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Dwight Morrow, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Fort Lee will head out on the road to take on Dwight Morrow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Fort Lee focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday. As for Dwight Morrow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Lee at 7:00 p.m.
