Basketball Game Preview: Danbury Hatters vs. Fitch Falcons

The Danbury Hatters and the Fitch Falcons will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.

Danbury is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 11th on Monday. They came up short against Middletown, falling 53-33.

Meanwhile, Fitch put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Capital Prep to the tune of 108-38. With the Falcons ahead 61-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Danbury better keep an eye on Xavier Goode. He was instrumental in Fitch's win, going 14 for 29 on his way to 35 points in addition to seven assists and seven steals. Goode's afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Calvin Sebastian, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards.

Fitch was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Capital Prep only posted four assists.

Fitch's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Danbury, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
