Basketball Recap: Montrose Comes Up Short

Montrose lost against Elk Lake back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Montrose Meteors took a 71-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elk Lake Warriors.

Montrose's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Elk Lake, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

While Montrose had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
