St. Mary's Academy suffered a tough 58-32 defeat at the hands of Kauffman on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. Mary's Academy of the 64-24 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
When it comes to explaining why St. Mary's Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nick Whitehead. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with seven rebounds.
St. Mary's Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Kauffman, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-10.
St. Mary's Academy will face off against KIPP Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kauffman, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against East at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Kauffman's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while East has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
