Mississinewa has gone a perfect 5-0 against Peru recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Indians will challenge the Tigers at 10:00 a.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Mississinewa's victory against Blackford wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians' defense stepped up to hand the Bruins a 1-0 shutout on Saturday. Mississinewa haven't had any issues with Blackford recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Mississinewa's one-goal win came courtesy of Makana Brown, who's now up to 13 this season.

Meanwhile, Peru hadn't done well against Rochester recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Zebras. Considering Peru have won five matches by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Mississinewa's victory bumped their record up to 7-3-2. As for Peru, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Mississinewa took their win against Peru in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 6-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
