Volleyball Recap: Lauralton Hall Crusaders vs. Cheshire Rams
Lauralton Hall entered their game against Cheshire on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lauralton Hall Crusaders fell just short of the Cheshire Rams by a score of 3-2. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played two weeks ago.

Defeat or not, Lauralton Hall got some senior leadership from Amirah Easter and Norah Mcnichols. Easter had 11 kills, seven digs, three blocks, and two aces, while Mcnichols had 22 kills, four digs, two aces, and a block. Easter is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in the last 11 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Charlotte Mcginness, who had 16 digs, two aces, and a kill.
Cheshire found their leader in sophomore Gabriella Scotti, who had 11 digs.
Lauralton Hall's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-3. As for Cheshire, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.
Lauralton Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cheshire has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Sacred Heart Academy on the 28th.
