Volleyball Recap: WF West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

WF West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Tumwater Thunderbirds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunderbirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Maille Marty was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in November of 2024. Paige Henderson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

WF West's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Tumwater, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. WF West is set to face off against their familiar foe Aberdeen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tumwater will square off against rival Shelton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
