Softball Game Preview: West St. Mary Wolfpack vs. Franklin Hornets

West St. Mary is on a five-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Franklin a seven-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The West St. Mary Wolfpack will host the Franklin Hornets at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for West St. Mary's offense. They lost 15-0 to Delcambre on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Franklin scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Jeanerette, falling 30-6.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West St. Mary, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

West St. Mary took their victory against Franklin when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 25-10. Will West St. Mary repeat their success, or does Franklin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
