Libby entered their contest against Whitefish on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Loggers took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 48-21. The Loggers were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

Defeat or not, Libby got some senior leadership from Tristan Andersen and Boe Miles. Andersen rushed for 82 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, while Miles picked up 114 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Miles' longest reception was for an incredible 75 yards.

Luke Dalen produced another solid effort rushing for 107 yards and four scores on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 190 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes for Whitefish. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Dalen a new career-high. A healthy portion of Dalen's aerial production (104 yards to be exact) went to Vlad Shestak.

Libby's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Whitefish, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Libby will square off against Columbia Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Andersen and Banyan Johnston. As for Whitefish, they will challenge Bigfork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings & Valkyries' defense has only allowed 12.9 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
