Soccer Recap: Matanzas Gets the Win

Matanzas had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Niceville Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2.

Matanzas hit Niceville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Matthew Ciminera, Jonathan Costa, and Tim Shestakov.

Matanzas is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Niceville, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Matanzas has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Mandarin on the 7th. Niceville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
