It was a good run, but Eagle Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 79-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Raymond Boys Ravens.

It was another big night for Tai Turnage, who posted 24 points for St. Raymond Boys. Another player making a difference was NaJay Bess, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 15 points.

Eagle Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-2. As for St. Raymond Boys, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle Academy will face off against DeWitt Clinton at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Eagle Academy has won six straight at home dating back to last season, while DeWitt Clinton won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for St. Raymond Boys, they will welcome Patrick School at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Patrick School's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 13 matches.
