On Wednesday, everything went the Carolina Day Wildcats's way against the Challenger Firebirds as the Carolina Day Wildcats made off with a 62-38 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Layla Hunter, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Keana Smith, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Carolina Day and bumps their season record up to 13-5. As for Challenger, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Carolina Day wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-43 victory against Oakbrook Prep on the 30th. Challenger does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
