Basketball Game Preview: St. Charles West Warriors vs. Duchesne Pioneers

The St. Charles West Warriors will face off against the Duchesne Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Charles West will be strutting in after a victory while Duchesne will be coming in after a loss.

St. Charles West is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past North Point 75-49 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted since December 3, 2024.

Meanwhile, Duchesne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 57-41 fall against Fort Zumwalt North. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 404th, while the Panthers are ranked 124th).

The victory got St. Charles West back to even at 5-5. As for Duchesne, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for St. Charles West against Duchesne in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 55-17 win. Will St. Charles West repeat their success, or does Duchesne have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
