Schurr had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Bell Gardens Lancers 10-0. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by eight runs or more this season.

Mia Gonzales was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Kayla Rodriguez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two doubles.

Schurr was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bell Gardens only posted a batting average of .294.

Schurr pushed their record up to 17-4-1 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Bell Gardens, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Schurr didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-5 victory against Cajon on the 19th. As for Bell Gardens, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-0 win against South East on the 21st.
