Softball Recap: Big Foot Comes Up Short

Big Foot and Lodi squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Big Foot had to settle for second. They came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 12-2. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 7-5 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Big Foot saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Holly Kynell, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Another was Kate Hummel, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Big Foot is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11. As for Lodi, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.

As of now, neither Big Foot nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
