Basketball Game Preview: Milton Black Panthers vs. Bloomsburg Panthers

Milton hasn't had much luck against Bloomsburg recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Milton Black Panthers will square off against the Bloomsburg Panthers at 7:15 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row dating back to last season, Milton finally turned things around against Central Mountain on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wildcats 52-49.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bloomsburg beat Berwick 64-60 on Saturday.

Bloomsburg's record is now 2-0. As for Milton, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.

Milton couldn't quite finish off Bloomsburg when the teams last played back in December of 2023 and fell 51-48. Can Milton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
