Softball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison fell victim to Hanover Park and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-4 back in April.

Madison saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Bochner, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Madison's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Hanover Park, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-6.

Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hanover Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jefferson Township at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
