Volleyball Recap: Crawford Comes Up Short

Crawford saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Grandview Zebras by a score of 2-1. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camryn Powers paced Crawford's offense, picking up eight kills. Powers got some help from Ainsley Anderson and her 21 assists. Ella Connell controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Crawford's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Grandview, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Crawford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against McGregor on the 19th. As for Grandview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Midland Christian on the 21st.
