Softball Recap: Mineral Ridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Waterloo on Wednesday, Mineral Ridge came back down to earth. The Rams fell just short of the South Range Raiders by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.

Laney Rigley was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Mineral Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5-1. As for South Range, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

Mineral Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 12-2 win against Jackson-Milton on the 6th. South Range has also already played their next contest (against Ursuline), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
