Soccer Game Preview: Jackson vs. Lamar County + Official Tickets

The Jackson Red Devils will square off against the Lamar County Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Jackson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Mary Persons on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. Jackson haven't had much luck with Mary Persons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lamar County played against Luella on Monday and won via forfeit.

Lamar County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Jackson, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Jackson was able to grind out a solid win over Lamar County in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, winning 4-2. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
