Baseball Recap: Pulaski County Maroons vs. Model Patriots
Pulaski County had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Model Patriots. The Maroons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Cal Miller was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Miller was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. He also put up two RBI, which were his first of the season.
In other pitching news, Levi Stykes looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits.
