Baseball Game Preview: Plant Panthers vs. Brandon Eagles + Official Tickets

The Plant Panthers will challenge the Brandon Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Plant's offense. They fell just short of Gaither by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled against the Cowboys recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

NICK TOWNLEY spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Plant saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JORDON OLIVIA, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Brandon's offense. They came up short against Strawberry Crest on Tuesday, falling 11-0.

Brandon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Plant, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Plant got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 against Brandon by a conclusive 14-0 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
