Basketball Game Preview: Dover Tigers vs. Wallkill Valley Rangers

Dover hasn't had much luck against Wallkill Valley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Dover Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Wallkill Valley Rangers at 4:00 p.m.

Dover is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 53-26 loss at the hands of Kittatinny Regional.

Meanwhile, Wallkill Valley had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They strolled past Sussex County Tech with points to spare, taking the game 51-33. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Rangers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Dover was dealt a bruising 80-47 loss at the hands of Wallkill Valley in their previous matchup back in February. Can Dover avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
