Soccer Recap: Longmont Takes a Loss

Longmont and Frontier Academy pushed the score to 5-3 the last time they played Frontier Academy, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Wolverines. Longmont have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Longmont's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for Frontier Academy, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Longmont wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-0 win against Weld Central on the 17th. As for Frontier Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Windsor Charter Academy on the 17th.
