Jack Britt's matchup on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against the South View Tigers as they made off with a 65-44 victory. The Buccaneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Deryian Mitchell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 47% from the field on his way to 19 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Derek Mitchell, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 13 points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Jack Britt was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South View only racked up four.

Despite the loss, South View still got an impressive performance from Jalen Mills, who posted 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Mills also posted a block, marking his first of the season. Morio Patterson was another key player, putting up six points and eight boards.

Jack Britt's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22.3 points. As for South View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Jack Britt will take on Gray's Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Buccaneers will be up against the Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South View, they will square off against Pinecrest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
