Volleyball Recap: Eisenhower Takes a Loss

Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Rim of the World Fighting Scots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Scots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

While Eisenhower was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10, 25-22.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Rim of the World, they moved to 3-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eisenhower will take on rival Arroyo Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Rim of the World is set to face off against their familiar foe San Gorgonio at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
