Basketball Recap: Point Pleasant Falls Short of Winfield in the Playoffs

Point Pleasant and Winfield squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Point Pleasant had to settle for second. They lost 63-37 to the Winfield Generals. The Big Blacks' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it nine in a row.

Point Pleasant's record now sits at 6-17. As for Winfield, they moved to 13-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Point Pleasant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winfield, they will challenge Nitro at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nitro is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.9 points per game this season.
