Basketball Recap: Hope Christian Academy Find Success

Hope Christian Academy's game back in December of 2024 was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 51-43 victory over the First Christian Lions. This was a revenge game for Hope Christian Academy: when they faced off against First Christian back in November of 2024, they had to take a 60-58 loss.

Aiden Wilson was nothing short of spectacular: he went 8 of 12 en route to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zenik Patrick, who posted nine points along with three steals and three blocks.

Hope Christian Academy's record now sits at 4-5. As for First Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hope Christian Academy and First Coast Christian will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for First Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Gainesville Christian Community at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
