Mukwonago had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 48-36 victory over the Waterford Wolverines on Thursday. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Waterford lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Alyson Brechtl, who posted 13 points and four steals. Kayla Brechtl was another key player, putting up ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Waterford's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
