A well-balanced attack led Central Valley over Pleasanton in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Central Valley Cougars blew the Pleasanton Bulldogs out of the water with a 62-30 final score. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on three straight.

Zaden Wolf was the offensive standout of the contest as he went 6 for 9 on his way to 17 points. July Gotschall also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brennan Lindner, who posted 11 points. That was a full 36.7% of Pleasanton's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's scored more than a third of the team's points. Josh Pierce was another key player, putting up eight points.

Central Valley pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points per game. As for Pleasanton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Central Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-38 victory against Anselmo-Merna on the 17th. As for Pleasanton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-61 defeat against Amherst on the 17th.
